"For 100 years a reproduction of Paolo Veronese "The Family of Darius before Alexander" has been in the noble hall of the Alexandrina recreational society. At a time when the public cause had a meaning, this hall was the stage for speeches, rallies, parties and debates on the life of society. On its hundredth anniversary day, and at risk of having its headquarters sold, strange guests draw an unexpected celebration. In a moment when different lines of possibilities cross, in parallel realities, and when, above all, two ideologies continuously challenge each other, nothing, but nothing, will make them stop fighting. Outside, the sounds of machines and violins start to be heard."

This is the soundtrack for the play "A República Alexandrina" written and directed by Pedro Saavedra, which premiered on 20th January 2022 at Malaposta.

A dive into today's melancholic, a smell from the past, time shifting and parallel realities, torture for the good, torture for the evil, a sweet sour emotional trip.
