“Downhill Vignettes” emerged from digging into all my previous recordings as an exercise to better understand my work so far and the direction of the new album yet to come. During this listening, I discovered many places and landscapes I was not aware I’d visited, but they really define me more as a listener than a producer. After a long downhill year, it felt right to release it as a kind of exorcism of the past and a scope into the future.

A personal exercise and joyful play from exploring deep into my jams and recordings to the experimentation on mixing and editing.

Alexandre Centeio delivers, for me, the Best Ambient/Experimental Electronic Album of 2022 so far! As is always the case with the Lontano series, & ROHS in general, the production values & song writing are second to none! Upon 1st hearing Mother Tree I knew this was a journey an album to be consumed with your ears & brain in one sitting, and boy, what a beautiful adventure of blissful dreams it is, peaking at the end with dreamy drones, wistful keys, dancing bells and an excellent wooden flute DJ Mr Ben's Chill Among Cosmic Waves
